Rotary is an international association of business leaders and professionals of both genders who provide humanitarian service, promote the implementation of high standards of ethics in every occupation, and contribute to the development of goodwill and peace in the world. More than 31,000 Rotary clubs operate in 166 countries, with approximately 1.2 million Rotarians. Rotary is a humanitarian, apolitical and non-denominational organization whose foundation dates back to 1905.

Rotary club members are a representative sample of men and women engaged in professional and business activities in their respective communities. Rotary clubs around the world meet weekly, are apolitical, non-denominational and open to all cultures, races and creeds.

The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of peace and global understanding through the humanitarian, educational and cultural exchange programs it sponsors internationally. Their funds come solely from the voluntary contributions of Rotarians and others who share their vision of a better world. Since 1947, the Foundation has awarded more than $ 1.1 billion in grants for humanitarian and educational projects, undertaken and administered by Rotary clubs and districts.

OUR MISSION

The mission of Rotary International, a worldwide association of Rotary clubs, is to serve others, promote high ethical standards, and foster understanding, goodwill and peace within the spirit of companionship of the business, professional and civic leaders that make up Rotary clubs.
